Contrasts are the keynote of design of the studio. Cold chrome and warm wood, silky tender beige paint and bright contrast subway tiles, refined antique elements and stylized industrial details, almost monochromatic beige-chocolate range of colors and flamboyant palette of dining chairs upholstery, which seem to have been collected from different vintage sets, live in harmony here.

Source of pride of the mistress, large gorgeous antique watch, which she inherited from her grandmother, took its rightful place at the head of the dining table. Minimalistic lamps hanging on the multicolored wires and bright scarlet radiator Terma Easy resembling fire staircase make contrast to the clock.

Playing with light and shadow became possible due to large number of absolutely different lamps. Made of textile, chrome and concrete, wood and Swarovski crystals, they are harmoniously combined in one space.

In the place of solid brick wall envisaged by developer, shelving unit with plenty of place for family pictures and souvenirs brought from exotic countries has appeared. The corridor, which used to be dark and stuffy, became filled with the sun light and air flowing from the big windows of the studio.

Large wardrobe in the corridor doesn’t look massive due to the mirrors and wooden mosaics on its sliding doors.

There wasn’t any possibility to make a clothesroom in a small bedroom, that’s why difficult issue had to be solved: how storage place for many clothes and other belongings of two adult people shall be organized not to clutter the small room with massive wardrobes. Mirrors have come to the aid again. Thanks to them storage places almost dissolve in the room and give it a bit of extra space.

Notwithstanding the limited space, the mistress asked to find a place for a toilet-table. We managed to do it by integrating the table into the window sill. Thanks to the asymmetric form of the table top and absence of the sharp corners, the table doesn’t prevent opening the wardrobe and moving around the room.

Asymmetric position of the windows allowed to displace the symmetry line in the bedroom design providing the space for large wardrobe.

Two huge mirrors in the “frames” made of tiles with patchwork pattern, which were found in collection Micenas by Venus, became the main decoration of the bathroom. Thanks to them the bathroom became more spacious and light-filled. Besides, large storage place for toiletries and household detergents was organized behind the mirror in the niche formed by the WC installation.
