It saves you the trouble of explaining “in hand-waving terms” what you want and how it should look like to construction workers. Besides, even before the start of the works you’ll be able to see final result, consider combination of colors and materials and understand whether you’ll feel at home in such interior.

As a rule, the main set of documents includes:

1. Measuring plan. It is an initial plan of your space indicating all measures. It’s a starting point of any design project.
2. Arrangement plan. At the first stage of work on design project we’ll offer you 2-4 options of possible furniture arrangement with due consideration of your needs and wishes as well as engineering specifics of your space. The option chosen by you will be the basis for further work on interior and will be included in the design project as arrangement plan.
3. Demolition and dismantling plan.
4. Erecting plan. On this drawing partitions which should be erected are shown and materials recommended for each partition are indicated. Elevation views and drawings of certain units are provided if necessary.
5. Plan of plumbing equipment with indication of location and heights (if necessary).
6. Plan of electrical equipment indicating location of sockets, electrical leads, switches etc.
7. Plan of light fittings.
8. Plan of linking electrical equipment with light fittings.
9. Plan of under floor heating.
10. Plan of flooring materials.
11. Plan of ceilings with indication of finishes and heights.
12. Elevation views (where appropriate) with indication of finishes, location of decorative elements, niches, local lightings etc.
13. Room schedule. This document contains the list of decorative finishes used in all rooms with indication of area for each type of finish.
14. Door schedule.
15. Furniture and hygiene equipment schedule. It is a list of all items of furniture, lamps, bathroom and lavatory equipment, technical devices etc. used in the process of creation 3D imaging of your interior, with indication of quantity, dimensions, colors and materials.
16. 2-4 photorealistic images of each room. Quantity of images depends on the area of the room and number of focal points there.

Number of drawings may vary depending on specifics of each project. For example, plan of under floor heating or plan of ceilings may be missing, and plans of electrical equipment, light fittings and linking electrical equipment with light fittings may be combined in one drawing. Besides, set of the documents may include drawings of furniture to be made to order, schedule of items on order, windows schedule etc.

Within the framework of designer supervision, designer makes 8 visits every month (2 visits per week). 4 visits are made to the site aiming control of executed works conformity with project documentation, making necessary corrections and coordination of actions with construction workers. Other visits include visits to shops, showrooms etc. to assist you in the process of materials and interior items selection.

By agreement with you and depending on progress of building and construction activities designer may make additional visit to the site instead of visiting the showrooms.

Price of designer supervision is not included in the price of design project.

At your desire number of designer’s visits may be increased. Each additional visit is subject to extra charges.

Of course, when you have full design project and enough time and desire to get to the bottom of all technical issues, to control each stage of repairs, construction or renovation works and to visit dozens of shops and showrooms looking for required materials and interior items, you may waive designer supervision. However, we always recommend to make use of this service, as during any construction or renovation works unforeseen situations leading to corrections in project may take place at any time. Corrections always cause changes in other parts of the project which is often not taken into consideration by construction workers and by the customer as well. As a result, absurd overhangings, sockets hidden behind the cabinets, sanitary wares standing near the wall or niches which are too small for your furniture may appear in the carefully planned interior.

Besides, from time to time it may become necessary to seek replacement for chosen materials and items of furniture which may be unavailable, discontinued or modified by the factory. Within the framework of designer supervision, designer will save you a lot of time and energy by offering you alternative items which will fit your budget and concept perfectly.

Development of layout concept will help you to organize your space in comfortable and consistent way. It will allow you to get the best out of your premises with due consideration of ergonomic aspects and engineering and sanitary requirements.

Notwithstanding the fact that this type of design project has its advantages, in our opinion, it has an essential weakness. As a rule, only those people who have spatial thinking can understand collages. That is why if you are not good at perceiving the space and not quite self-confident when it is about selection and combination of colors, textures and decorative elements, we recommend to decide on full design project. It will protect you from many sad mistakes and wrong decisions during construction or renovation works.
